Yes, you heard correctly: Sweet potato toast. It is possible.
This new trend is sweeping the social media outlets by storm. It acts and poses just like regular toast, you can even spread your favourite topping upon them. But unlike toast, it supplies you with plentiful Vitamin A and C which is said to keep your immune system strong and your eyesight sharp. Sweet potatoes are gluten-free, high in fibre, and are full of healthy micronutrients.
All this can be accomplished via your toaster.
How? Simple. Simply slice your sweet potato into a bread-like shape, keeping your slices as even as possible (if they are too thin…they will fall apart, if they are too thick…they do not cook through). Then pop the in the toaster on the highest setting. You may have to do a few rounds of toasting, but toast until each slice is slightly brown in colour and soft inside, about 15 to 20 minutes total.

- Yogurt and strawberries
- Peanut butter and banana

- Put in toaster (toast till browned ~ 5-6 times)
- Let toast cool
- Top with favourite toppings!
