I love my smoothies. Lately I’ve been getting to eating my smoothie (instead of drinking them) in the form of smoothie bowls. For those of you who don’t know, smoothie bowls are a great snack or breakfast. They are quick to make, satisfying to the taste and have the potential to be works of art!
Smoothie bowls have reinvented the standard cereal and milk. Instead of drinking the smoothie in a mason jar, the smoothie is poured into a bowl, utensils are changed from straw to spoon and fruity toppings are added.
For low sugar smoothies use low sugar fruits like strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, gooseberries, apples, pears, orange, tangerines..or a pitaya (the purple fruit i used in the video!). Enjoy!!
