Try this green smoothie in disguise. The spinach is hidden in the deep colour of pink pitaya (Asian fruit, found in local Asian stores!) you can easily substitute for dark pink berries also!
Pitaya comes both in white-flesh and pink-fleshed varieties. It is rich in vitamin C, B1, B2 and B3,
and in minerals such as iron, calcium, and phosphorus. The colours in this smoothie mimic those of a sunset…but you can drink this all day long!
- 2 Cups pink pitaya
- 1 Cup Spinach
- 2 Cups freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 Cup fresh Mango.
- Blend pitaya, spinach and orange. I used my @vitamix !!
- Blend mango and orange
- Pour pitaya smoothie into a glass
- Pour mango smoothie into same glass
